Eureka Escape: Terms and Conditions of Booking
1. BOOKINGS AND PAYMENTS
1.1. Our rooms can hold teams of different sizes. All details are given on the website. The maximum number of people is stated for each room.
1.3. On making a booking you accept that, while Eureka Escape takes appropriate steps to protect your information, the internet is not fully secure.
1.4. Only persons over the age of 16 may make a booking and they are responsible for entering their personal details correctly.
1.5. Prices vary depending on the number of players per game and are advertised on the website.
1.6. Bookings are made in advance via the website or over the phone. The payment platform used is PayPal. You can pay by credit or debit card and do not need a PayPal account. Full payment is usually required at the time of booking.
1.7. Once your booking is made with Eureka Escape, we can only refund if the cancellation is made more than 7 days in advance of the date of the booking.
1.8. For cancellations of bookings within 7 days of the booking date itself, Eureka Escape will rearrange your booking at no cost up to 48 hours prior to your booking. After this, any rearrangement is entirely at the discretion of Eureka Escape and is by no means guaranteed.
1.9. You may add extra players to your booking up to the room maximum, and the extra cost must be paid in cash on arrival. However, additional members of the party cannot be guaranteed entry without a prior discussion with Eureka Escape. Prior notice of numbers attending is essential.
1.10. In the event that less people attend than are paid for, Eureka Escape at their discretion, may offer a discount code for the difference in price to be used against a future booking.
1.11. Late arrivals may not be able to have the full 60 minutes in the game room. A booking becomes a ‘no-show’ and entry may be declined if a team is late by more than 15 minutes from the start time of your booked slot. In such a case, no refund will be offered and the booking is not changeable.
1.12. Purchases on the website will be confirmed by email and are valid when fully processed by Eureka Escape.
1.13. Bookings may not be resold for profit or commercial purposes but may be transferred into another name by email or telephone prior to the booked arrival time.
1.14. No photographs or recordings are permitted at any time whilst in any of the escape rooms. Failure to adhere to this will result in your game being forfeited.
1.15. Eureka Escape expects visitors not to disclose any details of the game to others.
1.16. Eureka Escape will charge customers for any damage which is intentional and/or caused by misuse of items.

2. MARKETING, WEBSITE USE AND SECURITY
2.1. www.eurekaescape.co.uk (the website) is owned by Eureka Escape who hold the right to change the content and the terms and conditions of use without prior notice. Eureka Escape does it’s best to supply up to date and accurate information.
2.2. The terms and conditions apply to use of the website by any customer and should be read carefully before use.
2.3. The website is for personal use only and you are not permitted to use any of the content for any purpose or link to any part of the website without prior permission in writing from Eureka Escape.
2.4. Eureka Escape is not liable for any damages resulting from use of this website.
2.5. The website contains links to third party websites. Use of these websites is at your own risk. Eureka Escape accepts no liability for damages arising from use of these websites.
2.6. Photos of each team may be taken at the end of a game. These are uploaded to social media sites and may be used for any marketing purposes in the future. If you do not wish for this use images of you, you must notify us when signing the pre-game ‘disclaimer’ paperwork.
2.7. If you do not wish to receive emails from Eureka Escape regarding offers and news you can opt out by not providing us with your email address.
2.8. If you have provided your email address and receive Eureka Escape mailouts, you can opt out at any time by clicking UNSUBSCRIBE on any email you receive from us.
3.1. Each attendee is subject to a pre-game briefing from Eureka Escape staff, after which they participate at their own risk. Eureka Escape is not responsible for injury/damages caused by not following rules/procedures as outlined in the briefing.
3.2. People under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be turned away and no refund or rearrangement will be offered.
3.3. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by at least 1 adult per room. Children under the age of 10 are only permitted after prior arrangement with Eureka Escape.
3.4. Eureka escape does not tolerate and kind of aggression or harassment towards Eureka Escape staff or other members of the public. While on Eureka Escape premises you must cooperate with Eureka Escape staff.
4. CORPORATE BOOKINGS
4.1. Bookings made on behalf of organisations/ businesses can be made with Eureka Escape staff directly via email/telephone or in person.
4.2. VAT Invoices will be raised to the organisation for these bookings.
4.3. The booking is deemed to be provisional until the agreed payment date. If the payment date is passed then it cannot be guaranteed that the booking slot will be held.
4.4. Payment can be made by card or BACS.
4.5. Full payment should be received by Eureka Escape within 7 days of the invoice date unless the booking is within 7 days in which case payment is due immediately.
4.6. A deposit may be requested if the booking is within a peak time period.
4.7. If your booking requires rooms to start at the same time the price will reflect the need to deviate from the regular booking schedule. This will be a base rate of £44 per room for the first 2 players and £18 per player after that.
4.8. Eureka Escape’s general terms and conditions of booking still apply to any corporate booking.

5.2. Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to affect your statutory rights.
5.3. These terms and conditions and any contract concluded incorporating these terms and conditions shall be governed by English law and all disputes may be submitted to a court of law.
